Yuuki Yoshii Memorial Museum
Focusing on the sweet world of Isamu Yoshii's poetry of Gion and the days he spent in Inonou, the place that triggered his revival, the museum exhibits his own handwritten works, valuable photographs, and videos, along with words from friends who presented their works to Isamu. Ekingura
Ekingura, or Ekin for short. He was originally a painter of the Kano school who worked for the Kirima family, a retainer of the Tosa domain, but was involved in a forgery case and was exiled to the castle. Ekin settled in the town of Akaoka with his aunt, and used a sake cellar as his studio for painting. The Ekinzo Museum houses and preserves 23 folding screen paintings that were left behind in the town. It takes about 25 minutes by car. Ekingura HP
